Paint Metal Kitchen Cabinets in Three Steps
The good thing about metal kitchen cabinets is that they are rejuvenated by use of paint. There are three easy steps to perform this refining process done occasionally. Step one involves brushing off the remnants of the old paint that has undergone discoloring using a paint stripper. To ensure maximum results of this coating that removes the old paint one should use a polythene paper to cover the metal box. After scraping the chips away one can use a steel wool to scrap off any remaining paint.
Step two is using several coats of primer solution on the metal surface to prevent rust and leaking of the metal kitchen cabinet. The primer should be allowed to dry first and should follow several such spraying processes. Step three involves the actual repainting. The paint should be applied in preliminary coats that should be allowed to dry for twenty four hours before resetting the metal kitchen cabinet for new use.
