Polishing your wooden head boards

Headboards are very important parts of the bedroom. They can be used for watching television, reading a book or simply chatting on the bed comfortably but not having to lie sown all the time. They can also make a beds look very good as they give quite an elegant look to the bed. The best headboards are those that are made of wood.

However, one has to be extra careful when it comes to the polishing of the wooden headboards. If there are marks or stains of water you can use toothpaste for getting rid of the stains. Wax or oil can be very good for the wooden rims but you will have to be very careful that it does not reach the linen of the headboard. For cleaning the linen part, you will have to add a soft detergent to the pieces of rag and rub gently on the body of the linen part of the headboard.
